Update 0.1.3 Released

Luminesca has just been updated to version 0.1.3, which you can download from the same place you purchased it (Desura, Indievania or direct download).

This patch fixes the bug which prevented some players from finishing Chapter 1 and adds a few small changes. You can view the full list of changes here.

I was working on adding some substantial 'story content' but decided it would be better to just get this bug fixed as soon as possible.  There will be another (bigger) update to Chapter 1 in the next week or so before I move on to Chapter 2.

Also, Linux support is coming very soon!

Just purchased the game. Looks really amazing! I may be able to help promote it. I'm considering the creation of a YouTube channel that reviews the most hidden Indie Games on the web in a more integrated, professional, organized way than the things I've been able to find. Will keep you informed if the project comes along.

    1. Thank you! I'd be very happy to be involved with that. Let me know if there's anything I can help with.

In the past week I've become more than prepared. I feel very dedicated to the project of a gamer show. Have compiled my own gameplay footage, geared up with a good camera and microphone, and am paying for my own site to host the videos. If I can get this thing off the ground enough to achieve some subscribers, I'll be sure to give your game a shout-out!

As far as the game goes, I am completely obsessed with the ocean depths, and always have been. Because of that, I absolutely adored the atmosphere. I'm hoping to see it become darker as you introduce new chapters. Stranger sea creatures and mystifying discoveries, I'll eat that up.

    3. Awesome, glad to hear it!
      Stay tuned :D

    4. Got the show launched! I only have a few views, but was able to gain 12 subscribers in less than the first hundred views of this video:

I made a brief mention of Luminesca in my third video. If my channel continues to grow, one day I hope to do a full spotlight review on the finished Luminesca. Don't ever give up on it!

    5. Awesome! I like the format, it's quite different to most videos of its kind. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the channel!
